We currently have a transmission fault between Cable and Wireless and one of our LNS’s . Both SDSL and ADSL provided by CW are affected. CW are currently aware of the issue and are working to resolve the fault.
Our BT Wholesale ADSL circuits are not affected by this.
We have been alerted to core issues at THN - services to Newbury and BT Broadband are affected. We are currently investigating
We experienced a DOS eminiating from an unmanaged colo customer in THN this morning. Our graphs showed in excess of 100k pps of udp fragments being ingressed into the core. We have taken action by removing the customer from our network. ABCnet apologise for any inconvenience.

REASON: Power Work in TFM2, Telehouse North
DESCRIPTION:
Telehouse are mandating a power outage in TFM2 (where our Telehouse North equipment is located) in order to switch all racks over to a new power distribution system. Whilst all equipment must be shut down, we will take this opportunity to migrate our equipment to a new home within the suite which had been planned for a later date. This will combine 2 outages in to 1 in order to reduce impact to customers in THN.
All customers directly connected to us in Telehouse North will lose connectivity for a maximum of 30 minutes whilst equipment is migrated. All other customers should be aware that the 10Gbps MPLS ring will be incomplete for approximately 5 minutes and therefore the network is at risk to a further fibre break. Customer traffic not ingressing to or egressing from THN will be re-routed via redundant paths for the duration of the maintenance window.

We lost connectivity to Newbury at 02:15am. We are investigating.
We are currently debugging issues being seen on the London metro ring, this currently appears linked to a multicast flood on the carrier network which is affecting the ethernet vlans supplied to us. We are working to isolate this and will provide an update when we have any further information.

We have been advised that the Bunker will be carrying out maintenance on their core and edge networking equipment on the 16th of June at 20.00 BST. This will involve a small outage to your service. We have been told that the outage will be kept to a minimum, however there will be an outage of approx 1 minute.
At 11.15pm we were alerted to packet loss on our Telehouse Router, we have isolated the router from the core whilst we investigate. This should not be impacting customers.
Our metro ethernet provider will be adding additional capacity to the data ring.
This work will involve taking down one leg of the ring in a
controlled manner and so we will be “at risk” but the work should not
be service affecting to any clients. This should last for no longer than
30 minutes.

BT are suffering a major outage in London which is affecting some of our framestream leased lines in London. We do not have an ETR at the moment.
